How to use

📅 Adding Trades

Click any day on the calendar to open the trade editor. Enter a P&L value for each trade. Symbol, direction, and setup tag are optional but unlock the breakdown stats.

📸 Screenshots

Paste a TradingView share link (e.g. tradingview.com/x/abc123) — ProfitHub auto-converts it to a direct image. A thumbnail appears on the calendar cell and full previews show in the notes section.

🏷 Setup Tags

Tag each trade with a setup name (e.g. "ORB", "VWAP Reclaim"). The Breakdown card groups your P&L, trade count, and win rate by setup so you can see what's actually working.

💾 Your Data

All data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). Use Export to save a .json backup and Import to restore it on another device or browser. Nothing is sent to any server.

🌡 Heat Map

Calendar cells are colour-coded by P&L intensity. Shading uses percentile scaling — the darkest green is your 90th percentile day, so the heatmap always adapts to your account size.

📊 Comparison Tab

Switch to the Comparison tab to see all 12 months side by side. Pick any year from the selector. Includes a bar chart, full stats table, and a cumulative year equity curve.

Metrics explained

Trade Win %

Winning trades ÷ total trades. Counts each individual trade row, not each day.

Day Win %

Days with a positive net P&L ÷ total days that have at least one trade logged.

Profit Factor

Gross winning P&L ÷ gross losing P&L. Anything above 1.0 means you made more than you lost. A healthy edge is typically 1.5+.

Best Day % of Gross Wins

Your single best day as a percentage of total gross winning P&L. A very high % means your results are concentrated in one outlier day.

Avg Win / Avg Loss

Average profit on winning trades vs. average loss on losing trades. Shown side by side so you can see your reward-to-risk ratio at a glance.

Equity Curve

Cumulative P&L plotted day by day across the month. Green = finishing positive, red = finishing negative. A smooth upward slope = consistent edge.
